Financial (FP&A / Underwriting) Analyst - Healthcare

Their team is growing, and they are looking for a dedicated Financial Professional to join them in navigating through this exciting phase of expansion and development.

Role Overview:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) department, focusing on the underwriting of new acquisitions and strategic projects. Your expertise will guide the financial decision-making process, ensuring growth is both sustainable and aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data related to the facilities and overall financial health. This includes forecasting, budgeting, and creating financial models to support strategic decisions.
  • Underwriting New Acquisitions: Evaluate financial and operational data of potential acquisitions. Develop financial models to assess risks, benefits, and the overall impact on the organization's financial stability and growth trajectory.
  • Strategic Project Management: Work closely with senior management to identify, prioritize, and implement strategic projects. This involves financial modeling, scenario analysis, and presenting recommendations based on data-driven insights.
  • Operational Efficiency: Analyze current financial and operational processes to identify inefficiencies. Develop and implement best practices and strategies to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency across all facilities.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards relevant to the healthcare industry.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate financial insights and strategies effectively to stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting etc.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related field, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret financial data and develop strategic insights.
  • Experience in underwriting and evaluating new business opportunities, particularly in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, with expertise in Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus.
