Job Description: Enterprise Systems Manager

Company Overview: Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry with 15 years of innovation and growth, is entering a transformative phase aimed at upgrading its technological and operational capabilities. Based in New Jersey, our client is expanding its market reach and enhancing operational efficiency through the adoption of advanced technology solutions. In line with these ambitious initiatives, we are in search of an Enterprise Systems Manager to spearhead the modernization of critical systems, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Position Summary: The Enterprise Systems Manager will play a critical role in overhauling and enhancing key systems such as the SAP-based finance, point of sale, logistics, fleet management, HR systems, as well as the Salesforce CRM and WMS. This pivotal position requires a blend of technical knowledge, financial acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of business operations to ensure seamless integration and optimization of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the principal liaison for all matters concerning enterprise-wide technology projects, interfacing with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead the identification, selection, and implementation of technological solutions for the ERP upgrade, CRM, and WMS improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient utilization across all systems, particularly focusing on the control and management of financial operations such as accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
  • Develop and refine operational processes related to financial operations, enhancing system controls, automation, and integration to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the business's key risks, as well as the crucial inputs and outputs of our systems, to align technology solutions with business goals.
  • Champion best practices in data management and system optimization to support the company's growth and market expansion efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in an Enterprise Systems Manager, Project Manager, or Consultant role with a focus on financial systems and operational technology within a manufacturing or similar sector.
  • Solid foundation in financial principles and accounting practices, capable of managing the financial aspects of enterprise systems.
  • Expertise in managing enterprise wide systems ((ERP systems (with a  preference for SAP experience), CRM platforms (Salesforce), and WMS.))
  • Exceptional project management skills, evidenced by a successful track record in leading technology enhancement projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of mobilizing and aligning diverse stakeholder groups towards common objectives.
