Territory Manager - Chemical Commercial Sales

Our client, a growing manufacturer and distributor of products sold to commercial entities and distributors in the north east is seeking a Territory Manager to maintain and expand their Westchester / Greenwich as well as their Long Island territories.


You will be working with  commercial cleaning products into health care, hospitality and food service companies among others and will bring an excellent competitive advantage on BOTH price AND service.

You should be a natural hunter and be somewhat mechanically inclined (you will do some basic troubleshooting on the equipment that comes together with the product.

RESPONSIBILITIES


• Source, acquire and maintain accounts within an existing territory through a high level of customer care
• Provide technical support to help train users and troubleshoot equipment
• Basic troubleshooting and repair of equipment including dishwashers, laundry machines and
housekeeping dispensers and escalate as required
• Assist customers with customer service and ordering needs
• Learn customer’s operation and devise ongoing unique solutions for their cleaning and sanitation needs

Requirements
• 1+ years successful outside sales experience
• Display excellent communication skills and strong follow through
• History in a position that required autonomy and self-motivation
• Industry related experience in food service, laundry and housekeeping preferred.
