Real Estate Management Operations Manager / Coordinator (Office not field)

Our client, a Brooklyn based, rapidly growing Real Estate Management company with over 2,500 residential units under management is seeking an Operations Manager / High Level Company Coordinator to ensure the efficient and seamless operation of their daily tasks.

You will be charged with making things work (have everyone row in the same direction and at the same time), make things better (put processes and best practices into place) and will serve as a hub for all the various functions within the company including finance, compliance and tenant happiness.

This is a high impact role with room to grow!

Superb coordination skills as well as an upbeat attitude and being highly organized and capable of multitasking are essential for this role.

Experience with real estate operations is preferred but not absolutely required.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate management tasks between the field, financial, and call center and ensure all property and back office tasks are timely addressed.
  • Research and implement new procedures to increase efficiency between and throughout the organization.
  • Source and implement procedures in various location to improve unit renovation turnaround time and quality (including permitting and Inspections)
  • Oversee all compliance related tasks (including annual filings, HPD/DOB violations, local laws, annual inspections, and violations)
  • Stay up to date on DHCR regulations and housing laws and assist with remedying DHCR related challenges
  • Create and maintain essential KPI reports for monthly and quarterly review.
  • Work with management and field staff to create actionable items to improve asset performance
  • Interface with institutional and private investors re budgeting and periodical financial review
  • Assist with refinancing analysis for candidate properties and interface with brokers to provide necessary financial information
Requirements
  • A verifiable track record of cross functional coordination across departments and geographies (the personnel you will be working with are located in various offices in 2 states).
  • Experience researching and implementing best practices and technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and strong Excel skills.
  • A background in real estate operations management strongly preferred but not absolutely necessary.
