Sr. Sales Rep – Primary Care Group partnerships

Our client is a rapidly growing group of Catherization Labs (Cath Labs) they are seeking a seasoned and polished sales representative with deep relationships with primary care groups (and podiatry groups) to forge win-win partnerships with groups that lead to better outcomes for physicians, patients and the cath labs.

They are expanding on a proven model and are looking for someone who has brought diagnostic services (laboratory, toxicology or other services) into physician groups.
 
This position brings lots of upside and requires a strong business sense besides for very solid core sales skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Source and engage potential primary care groups and present the partnership offering. The offering includes incorporating billable diagnostic testing within the physician’s practice (leading to increased revenue for the group) and the eventual referral of procedures to the Cath Lab.
  • Achieve sales volume and customer contact targets in assigned territory, driven from both targeted and new customer leads.Proactively identify and build relationships with key decision makers in primary target market within assigned territory.
  • Create business plans for territory/assigned customer targets including, but not limited to opportunity development, competitive strategies and targets.
  • Develop & maintain a high level of physician and patient satisfaction through consistent and quality interactions.
  • Provide ongoing insights, market trends & competitive data to Sr. Management.
  • Continuously update and validate understanding of partners changing clinical and/or operational issues and challenges.
  • Actively support partner groups through their decision making process towards a successful outcome.
  • Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all Quality, Regulatory and integrity policies and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
  • 5 year of sales experience in a physician facing role in a medical, healthcare or technical field. Experience bringing diagnostics into primary practices highly preferred.
  • Experience in a sales role with a significant sales cycle (not just one-time contact).
  • A good business sense and comfortability with payor policies, practice priorities and the ability to relay bottom line impact (not just the pros of a given product).
  • Demonstrated skillset in effective sales process and deal closure
  • Proven, effective time management, expense reporting and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive successful relationship building
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Effective presentation skills; able to present ideas to partners in a way that produces understanding and impact.
